We also make to order what we call a ‘raw’ finish. These enclosures are hand brushed to give a very slightly ‘rough grain’ texture to the outer walls of the cabinet. They are then finished with a natural wax-oil product that is available in a number of different tints, the most common of which is ‘natural’. Please contact us for more details.
Finishes & Colours
All the oak we select for our cabinets comes from sustainable forests. Because our enclosures are made from solid wood, without any kind of veneer, history tells us that they can last forever, as long as they are looked after properly and kept in the right conditions.
Note: Natural oak Pearl Acoustics enclosures, like wooden musical instruments, should be kept in rooms with slow and moderate temperature and humidity variation (40-60% humidity). If you have any concerns at all, please contact us: enquiries@pearlacoustics.com
We also offer our ‘Raw’ range of colour finishes. Our craftsmen accentuate the natural wood grain in the French Oak by brushing the entire surface of the enclosure by hand and then polishing in a natural wax-oil treatment using a very soft cloth and lots of hard work and patience!
