Finis et fine

For me the best thing about the Sibelius SG is that they definitely mark the end of my audiophile journey. After buying and selling many speakers and amplifiers (and losing a lot of money in the process) I finally have a pair of speakers that offer all I was looking for.

The sound is incredibly natural and lifelike. They do convey a feeling of being there – in the concert hall, in the recording venue.

With the Sibelius SG you never get the nagging feeling that something is still missing, that something could be better.

Naturalness, soundstage, timbre and the above mentioned lifelike atmosphere – it’s all there.

I do agree with Harley and Ajay: a Sugden amplifier – even the A21a – is a perfect match. But the Sibelius do sound very, very good with a little Rega Io oder Brio, too.The combination with valve amplifiers is fabulous, a PrimaLuna Evo 100 integrated for example.

To summarize: Being able to listen to great music with the Sibelius SG quite simply makes me very grateful and happy. They look great and they play music like no other speaker that I have ever heard or owned regardless of size or prize.

My expectations where high, but they have been surpassed by such a large margin that I can hardly express my amazement.
