Michel Tilkin conducting the Luca Chamber Orchestra in the concert hall of the Lemmens Institute, Leuven, Belgium on 19 September, 2019. Konzertmeister (Leader): Anso Lemaire.

This symphony was first performed on October 3, 1816. Our performance was filmed by Guillaume Zhang, with the sound recording by Harley Lovegrove. Sound mixing: Sonata Productions. The recording was made using the Decca Tree technique, using one AKG C414 mkll centre and two high-end Audio-Technica omni-directional microphones, left and right. When listening in two channel, with correctly spaced loudspeakers or in headphones, you will hear that each instrument is in its correct place and the sound stage has a 3D depth to it, front and back. Enjoy!
