In this two part series, I begin with an empty desk and explore the possibilities to obtaining a hi-quality HiFi desktop set up, one which meets ones expectations and needs. In doing so, I will be sharing some tips and tricks along the way.
In this episode, look at passive loudspeakers and a variety of combinations of dacs, headphone amplifiers and integrated amplifiers.
In Part 2 (to be released on the 13th. of November 2023), I will take a very different approach and see which turns out best, and what I actually chose in the end.
