What kind of speaker cable should I use?

There really is a lot written about speaker cables. However there are some basic rules of thumb. The longer the cable, the higher quality and thicker it needs to be. No speaker cable should have a resistance along its length of more than 5% of the resistance of the drive unit it supplies. However, do not worry too much. If you do not want to spend thousands of dollars on cable. Simply use four CAD5e cables and wind them together per terminal and you will have a very high quality cable that cannot be outperformed, even by the most expensive cable in the world. (If you find it ugly, you can either spend lots of money on really sexy looking cables like ‘Monster’ cable or buy sheathing to cover your cad 5e with!
